Job Description

Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to provide support to senior resources on the team in areas of technical writing/review, research assistance, documentation preparation, gap analysis and compile and drafting documentation for use in responses to requests.

Duties

Includes but not limited to:

Memoranda, data analysis, staff papers, briefings, presentations, talking points, fact sheets, training, and other materials as requested
Review technical documentation for content accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling, compliance with established templates, and adherence to standards
Develop document templates, standard operating procedures, job aids, and associated metrics for use in the U.S. Coast Guard Requirements and Analysis Process

Qualifications

Required education and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Commuinications, Public Affairs or related technical discipline (Extensive, directly applicable experience may substitute for the academic degree requirement)
Gap Analysis and Executive Briefing
3 years Experience of progressive experience in IT business analuysis, strategic communications, or related field
Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office and excellent writing skills
